With the Paul Scherrer Institue, ETH Zürich, and the University of Zürich, the Zürich area is home to a world-renown research facility and two top universities, all of which host very active condensed matter theory groups.  

As a regular seminar series, the Zurich Condensed Matter Theory Seminar series features distinguished speakers and takes place approximately four times during each semester.
